Slovakia progresses in World Cup but should have done better

This has been a World Cup with some dire performances so far. France played Uruguay in a match which surely couldn't make anyone who wasn't an addict want to take up football. England drew 1-1 with America and the English goalkeeper is taking the blame which doesn't seem fair as there are ten other players in the team. Switzerland beat Spain 1-0 which was a major upset and which drew a comment from the Spanish coach that Switzerland didn't deserve to win as they were too negative. Scotland aren't playing this yhear which is a shame, if not a surprise. Slovakia, however, drew 1-1 with New Zealand, which is good news for both teams. It's Slovakia's first visit to the World Cup and while New Zealand have been before, it was nearly 30 years ago. After the break, 5 minutes into the second half, Slovak striker put Slovakia 1-0 up. Slovakia held on right until the 2nd minute of extra time when they let in a goal from Reid; it should have never been.Home / Business // Search // Submissions
